On 31 March 2020, Linyi Industrial Park in Ondo, Nigeria donated 10,000 liters, totaling 8 tons of 75-degree sterilized alcohol, to the Ondo State Government to help Nigeria fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kevin ZHU, head of the park, said alcohol produced in the park is an important raw material for making hand sanitizers, disinfectants and disinfectants. As a Chinese enterprise investing in Nigeria, IPARK is willing to work with the Nigerian government and people to fight the epidemic.
The park also donated two water Wells to communities around the park, which are now operational.
Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo Prefecture, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chinese enterprises for their material donations and encouraged all sectors in Nigeria to work together to fight the epidemic and overcome the current difficulties.
