YUP Chemical Industry Park, Nigeria is located in Ondo State, Nigeria. The Phase I development covers an area of 3,000 mu (approximately 200 hectares), while Phase II has over 10,000 mu (approximately 667 hectares) of reserved land. The Park is mainly engaged in the planning, development, investment, and management services of chemical industrial parks. The Park is adjacent to the Gulf of Guinea and is located along the Lagos–Benin national highway. It is approximately 400 km from Abuja International Airport, 180 km from Lagos International Airport, 170 km from Lagos Port, 100 km from Lekki Deep Sea Port, and 360 km from Port Harcourt Port. With its strategic location and convenient transportation network, the Park enjoys significant geographical advantages.
The Park is equipped with complete infrastructure, including water, electricity, gas, roads, and telecommunications. Supporting facilities such as canteens, dormitories, and office buildings are also fully in place. Nigeria’s national natural gas trunk pipeline runs through the Park and is connected with a gas supply outlet and pressure-regulating station. The Park has obtained a gas consumption license from the Nigerian National Gas Company and has signed a long-term gas supply agreement, ensuring a stable and sufficient gas supply.
The Park is now open for global investment promotion, targeting enterprises in the petrochemical industry, fertilizer industry (including synthetic ammonia, ammonium bicarbonate, urea, compound fertilizers, and phosphate fertilizers), natural-gas-based syngas and downstream products (including methanol and its downstream industries), as well as fine chemicals. Leveraging the opportunities of the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Beijing Summit in September 2024, the Park actively implements the “Ten Partnership Actions for Advancing Modernization Together” over the next three years, aiming to build a global petrochemical ecosystem, industrial chain, and value chain.
