SINO-ORD Industrial Park

SINO-ORD Industrial Park, Angola is located in Dande City, Bengo Province, Angola. It was established in October 2017. The investors are ORD Group Co., Ltd. and Linyi Aosi International Trading Co., Ltd., with Shandong Aodeao Investment Co., Ltd. as the investment platform. The registered capital is RMB 327 million. The Industrial Park is mainly engaged in industrial park planning and development, investment and construction, management and operation, consulting and services, as well as ceramic production lines with an annual capacity of 20 million square meters and supporting projects. It is the largest ceramic manufacturing enterprise in Southern Africa. The project fills the industrial gap in Angola, and due to import substitution, the Angolan government has implemented a 20% tariff increase to protect the local ceramic industry.

The Industrial Park covers an area of 6,000 mu (approximately 400 hectares / 4 square kilometers) with a 45-year land-use right. The total investment of Phase I is USD 50 million. Its main businesses include industrial park development, standard factory construction, production of ceramic floor tiles and wall tiles, carton packaging, logistics, paper manufacturing, mining, gypsum board, ceramic frit, furniture, glass, and forestry development, with more than a dozen member enterprises operating in the Park.

In June 2021, Angolan President João Lourenço visited SINO-ORD Industrial Park and highly praised its contributions to promoting economic diversification, increasing government fiscal revenue, advancing local manufacturing, and creating employment for 2,000 people.

In November 2021, SINO-ORD Industrial Park was recognized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce and the Department of Finance as a Provincial Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone.

On July 21, 2022, the Dande Free Trade Zone Project in Angola was officially launched, and the Chinese Ambassador to Angola was invited to attend the inauguration ceremony. SINO-ORD Industrial Park became one of the enterprises deployed in the first-phase development area of the Free Trade Zone.
